Called

Over the period of time while I was MIA...

I've been spending a lot of time talking to a certain friend of mine.

No doubt we live in difficult times. No doubt, sometimes you look at things around you and realise you are in a situation you didn't exactly create or let alone ask for. But then again as mentioned in the previous post, things are bound to happen. It's how do we react that matters.

My stand? Simply I trust that He knows what he's doing.

Speaking from experience, Circumstances makes you stronger. If God's there you can smile at the storm :)

With God you can!!

On another note...

I must study. Form4... who ever called it a honey moon year?!!! To start with I have no one to go on a honey moon with other than with my Add maths, Bio (my love), Chem, and Physics books!!

Secondly... though this year has just started... I've already started planning my next years schedule. Second thought, I am a habitual planner so no, that's nothing new actually.

So here's what I plan to do next year. Once I pass on my SR committee post...
I plan to join...
1. Toastmasters.

It's good experience no doubt. Frankly speaking, public speaking has never been my forte. The only reason I do it so often in CF or something is because well, like I said before, there's a cause, God gave me strength and it's for God. I feel that somehow God used this to give me a kick start in this area which now, I want to be a good steward, and improve it.

2. Gemala

I kind of mentally put this under the 'partially-see-through' category. Meaning that I might or might not do this next year. Gemala is the name for my school magazine, so needless to say, it's good experience. Imagine organizing all those photo's, making sure that the magazine turns out 'perfect'. It would be fun... maybe photography??

3. Subang Rally

Being my last year in school next year, I want to use this last chance of mine to serve as a High school student in Rally differently. No, I do not plan to be in the worship team again, and no, I'm never more a SR usher. I want to be............

SECURITY

It's definitely going to be a change.

4. Keep in touch with the seniors.

When I say seniors I mean the Form 5/12 one's especially.
To say the least, I'm going to miss them. 4 years. That's a lot of time and a lot of memories... mainly sweet ones. So yeah, to lose touch with them just because they've gone to college will be such a waste. So, I'm going to do my best to never put them in a box, shove them aside into the cold forsaken storage box, to be viewed once in a blue moon.

That's all from me now... till then... Bye :)

Circumstances

It seems like the moment we start taking notice of circumstances is the moment in which they undergo change. Imagine. If your daily circumstance was the same old same old, what would you notice? But if suddenly, a small breeze or a huge hurricane flies into your schedule... literally or metaphorically speaking, you're going to feel it. It's going to get you uncomfortable. You're going to feel the challenge. You're going to react. How would you react?

If there's anything I've learnt from the past, it's that there are many circumstances you CAN'T control. You will just have to learn to exercise wisdom in learning how to use them, and overcome them. Some wisely put it as it's God's idea that apple trees produce apple fruits. You can't make them grow grapes. However, He did give you the job to plant it, work the soil, nurture it and ultimately, take care of it.

Another thing I've learnt is that no matter what the circumstance, the first course of action would be to pray and trust in the one who's in charge – God.

This will still your spirit keep you at peace for He gives you a sound mind, packed with power, affirmed with love so you will be able to handle it His way which is the most sensible and effective way.

This should be kept going at all times. Again and again I've been reminded to stay in an attitude of worship. To continue praising and worshipping God through prayer, songs, and intercession. For with this, He will give you strength to do everything necessary. Including...

Keeping a cool head.

With that you can go far.

1.You would be able to listen to opinions without jumping into wrong, or downright weird conclusions.

2. You would be able to systematically separate emotion from reason.

3. You would be able to get a clearer understanding on this

Suspence

Going for interview tomorrow. It's a time of a life time. Like seriously. Have been waiting for this moment ever since I was Form 1.

Tomorrow's the interview for a post as a committee member for Subang Rally 2012.

Ever since I was asked this year if I would like to try for the interview, it kind of triggered a lot of questions
I am so busy as it is... Lord? How?
I have so many responsibilities... Lord? How?
Is this really what you want for me?... Lord?
Am I ready?... Lord?

So far my answer is go. so what do I have to loose? Jesus will be there for you.
worked out my time table... I AM able to fit it in... once I extract all those day dream moments haha.

Thank God. I thank God for my busy schedule. Honestly I know this is going to train me for the future and what He is in store for me.

I trust in Him,
Clovey

A short one.

When things don't turn out the way you want it to. And Events don't go according to plan. And you realised you've made a mistake. You over looked something.... Thank God for revealing it to you. Thank God that He has given you the means and the courage to change it into what He wants it to be.

This happened to me just yesterday. I overlooked something. I was told. and I thank God He softened my heart to accept it, and overcome it.

Authentic Worship.

Truly put my thoughts on Worship and all into understandable words. Thank God for His people like this who deliver His message.

I still remember in 2010, God put a word in my heart during Subang Rally Pre-rally - "Stay in the heart of worship."

Listening to this helped me to understand what He was truly trying to tell me.  Continue to put Him first in all things.

In ALLL things, put Him first. When you're on stage, off stage, With everyone, Alone, When things go haywire, when things are smooth... Worship Him. NEVER put Him aside. It may feel right for a time but then you realise the HUGE damage that happens when you put Him aside.

hmm... soooooo
I love Him. Do you? :P

Awesome play by my Church YOUNIFIED!! :P hope you enjoy it :) God Bless
